Do people store their old birthday cards? If so, in what? Are there special items sold to store old birthday cards?
What should one do with old birthday cards?
You should send old birthday cards to the paper recycling centre. Of course, if they you have an emotional attachment to them then you should keep them safe somewhere. Generally I put them in to be recycled.
Reply:Save them until your next birthday.
Reply:I have saved mine from way back. They are cool to look at years down the road......They are just in a drawer, side by side, no string or no bag, just, there. One day, you may get tired of them, THEN you trash or recycle or whatever.
Reply:Toss 'em
Reply:you could do something fun with them ,like put them as a colage.it could be placed from the first one you got till the last one.
Reply:You can go to www.lightimpressions.com and find items to help you archive items like your birthday cards or any type of parer you wish to save. I keep mine using items I have purchased from there. I also use them in scrape booking with pictures from my birthday gatherings. You can also,,,,if you are into crafts use them in craft projects. I know a person that reuses them... If she gets a card that can be use for anyone,,,,,she uses white out to white out the name and use it again,,,,BUT,,,she tells everyone some of her cards are recycled!.
Reply:from people i don't care much, i simple dispose them as soon as i read them.
the on from people i love, i discharge them too, after have a copy of it in my photo file in my comp.
Reply:store them in shoe box. after many years you will be happy to see them again
Reply:I have a scrapbook where I glue them in, helps to keep the one I really love and cut down on the clutter.
Reply:i think you should keep and cherish them
Reply:throw them out for they have served there purpose
Reply:You should white out the names and reuse them. Cheap? yes, Tacky? yes, Saves the environment? oh yeah baby!
Reply:I throw them away unless they have something very special written on it.
Reply:You can always get a scrapbook at a card or gift store, and then put the cards in that you got over the years.. And for each year you can add comments and say what you did on that birthday, who you were with and gifts you got. It might be a nice thing to give to your kid one day.
Reply:You should probably keep birthday cards as a sign to the giver that you actually care.
