For the decoration part... check out your local craft store. Even some stickers at the Dollar Stores can help you out. Keep the artwork colorful and simple.

As far as the GREETING... next time something makes you laugh, conversation with a friend, eavesdropping in line at the store, or a silly twisted slip of the tongue that comes out all wrong but hilarious... POST IT NOTES!!! Write down anything that makes you giggle and maybe you can spice up your homemade greetings. Good luck!
Reply:My four year old could help you with this quest.
Reply:Here are a few web site that you could use. I know the last one is about pregnancy but there is also a crafting area and ideas about making cards.

Reply:Go to the scrapbooking store~!

You can get some really nice patterned paper and you can also get mini applique type things to glue on. I think they even have a section at wal-mart crafts to "make your own card" kits. Some are very cute.

I personally like the stick people home made cards.
Reply:Old calender pictures and magazines are a good start. think of what your friend likes, and cut out pictures, stick them to card paper in a collage'. then write a nice little poem or find a saying on a site to put inside.
Reply:Get a piece of computer paper, fold it in half, and on the front draw a cake with candles. (With the candles, make sure it's the person's age!) And still on the front write Happy Birthday (Their Name)! Then on the inside write a little something to them.
Reply:You could get a bunch of arts and crafts and you could go from there and just use your imagination and go from there and put stuff together for your friend
Reply:well, it depends on what the party is like and stuff, i need more details, but family fun MIGHT be a good website
