This site gives great poems for birthday cards.
Does anyone know of any 'clever' things to write in Birthday Cards?
You could say "happy " ** " b day in dog years,It would make them feel better about their age that theyre not a dog
Reply:The most clever thing to write would be something personal that is actually not off-the-shelf. All these cards are blahblah-bombs, nobody even reads them - unless you write something that's maybe not poetry or other hoaky stuff, but an actual personal message to a good friend and valued person - like "You know, I really like the way you te your shoe laces and pour wine the way you do". Well, that was just an example, and probably an awkward one. But do you see what I mean?
