i think it should come with your idea, thats the sense of creating self made cards, though it might look ugly, at least,.
Ideas for hand made mens birthday cards?
I made mu husband a "book" out of construction paper and ribbon tying it together. It's the rule in our house not to buy cards, we make them. I just printed off cute love sayings (goole search love sayings) and glued them onto some of the pages. I wrote him a letter on one of the pages telling him why I loved him. Then I printed some pictures of him/us and put that on some pages.
