I'm trying to write a 22nd birthday card to one of my best guy friends. I care deeply about him, but don't want it to be too sappy. I've only known him for about a year...
The front of the card has a dog hanging out a car window and reads, "Whatever makes you feel good". The inside simply says "happy birthday".
He mentioned that he really wanted a dog for his birthday...
What should I write inside a birthday card for a friend?
i always suck at writing in b-day cards too. i try to keep it simple: i hope your birthday is great, eat, drink, be fat and lazy, it's your day, take it easy and have fun! happy birthday! and oh, here's the dog you wanted!
Reply:Let the heart speak. Let him know he is a friend, and that he is valued.
Reply:If your friend is the type to joke around and whatnot, maybe you could add this:
This is your last birthday... For this year.
Happy 22nd birthday!
It sounds kinda mean though, doesn't it?
